Filipe Garcia Martins

Filipe Martins, former special advisor to the Presidency for international affairs under Bolsonaro, was arrested in May 2023 in the investigation into the alleged coup attempt. He is charged with active participation in coup-related activities, including drafting and circulating documents challenging the legitimacy of the electoral process. His detention was ordered by Justice Moraes, the same magistrate Martins had publicly attacked.
